One Week to Go: Songs for the Soul Set to Lift the Roof for Local Young People

With just one week to go, excitement is building for Songs for the Soul — a powerful evening of live music in support of The Door Youth Project.

This special fundraising concert will bring together two of the county’s most dynamic community choirs for a night packed with energy, emotion and unforgettable harmonies. Audiences can look forward to an eclectic programme, from moving, reflective pieces to show-stopping favourites including Bohemian Rhapsody, plus bold and surprising arrangements inspired by Metallica.

Choir leaders Luc and Louise, who have collaborated on several successful ventures, are promising an evening that celebrates the joy of singing together while raising vital funds for young people in the Stroud and South Cotswolds areas.

Every ticket sold will directly support The Door’s work providing safe spaces, support, opportunities and hope to local young people.

Tickets are available from The Door shop, High Street, Stroud and thedoor.org.uk/songs  — grab your chance to be part of this uplifting night of music with heart.

Communion during this time

In these unprecedented times, we are working hard to find imaginative solutions in a landscape that has been rapidly changing. Sometimes we get things right, and sometimes we miss the mark. I apologise that this has been the case regarding communion.

For those of you who have received wafers in a parcel, we would ask that you either consume them, or put them somewhere safe to bring back once we are able to be together again.

We are going to be sending out a new order of service for use during this time as either a simple service of the word or, on occasion, to help us to share an Agape meal together.
