Discipleship

  • 24-Hour Prayer Event:- 7th–8th June“Come, Holy Spirit” We invite you to take part in a 24-hour prayer event from Sat 7th to Sun 8th June, as we prepare to celebrate Pentecost together. We begin with a service of worship and prayer at Holy Trinity, Stroud at 11am on Sat 7th JuneFrom there, we’ll commit to keeping a chain of prayer going right through the next 24 hours. You’re invited to sign up for a 30-minute session — whether at home, out on a walk, or in a quiet corner — to pray intentionally for our churches, our communities, and for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We’ll draw the 24 hours to a close with a celebration service at Holy Trinity at 11.00am on Pentecost Sunday, 8th June.

Communion during this time

In these unprecedented times, we are working hard to find imaginative solutions in a landscape that has been rapidly changing. Sometimes we get things right, and sometimes we miss the mark. I apologise that this has been the case regarding communion.

For those of you who have received wafers in a parcel, we would ask that you either consume them, or put them somewhere safe to bring back once we are able to be together again.

We are going to be sending out a new order of service for use during this time as either a simple service of the word or, on occasion, to help us to share an Agape meal together.
