Exciting News to Share!

We are delighted to announce that Revd Coral Francis has been appointed as our new Team Vicar for Stroud Parish Churches! This news was shared across our churches last Sunday following interviews at the end of March. Coral was thrilled to accept the role, and we look forward to welcoming her into our team.

Coral is currently serving as Curate in the Minchinhampton Benefice. She is married to Revd Peter Francis, who is the Rector of the Rodborough, Woodchester, and Brimscombe Benefice.

In the coming weeks, we will share further details about her licensing service. In the meantime, please keep Coral, Peter, and their family in your prayers as she prepares for this new chapter in ministry with us.

As always this week’s newsletter offers a snapshot of all the events happening across our parishes. Please do take a look at the website for a fuller picture.

Communion during this time

In these unprecedented times, we are working hard to find imaginative solutions in a landscape that has been rapidly changing. Sometimes we get things right, and sometimes we miss the mark. I apologise that this has been the case regarding communion.

For those of you who have received wafers in a parcel, we would ask that you either consume them, or put them somewhere safe to bring back once we are able to be together again.

We are going to be sending out a new order of service for use during this time as either a simple service of the word or, on occasion, to help us to share an Agape meal together.
