What is a Joint LMT?
It stands for ‘joint local ministry teams’. Each of the churches in the team has people who are recognised by their worshipping communities and by the clergy as leaders within their local church who work together with the ordained leaders to shape the life of the church. The whole church recognises their leaning and gifts whether that’s in caring for people, leading prayer and worship or leading in showing God’s love and care to people within the church’s local community or for the wider world.
Every two months these local ministry teams get together for mutual support and training, to learn from each other, to be accountable to one another and just to enjoy getting to know one another better and being together!
The meetings are usually on the first Monday evening of alternate months. The next meeting is July 4th at Holy Trinity at 7.30pm.
