St. Paul’s Church is situated on the Main Road through Whiteshill, near the Star Inn and has lovely views over the Painswick Valley from the churchyard, which is managed to encourage biodiversity in the green space.
It has great acoustics for live performances, an organ and a sound system with radio- microphones and CD and MP3 inputs.
There are tea and coffee making facilities but no kitchen. There is an accessible toilet.
The Lady Chapel is suitable for small group meetings. It can seat approximately 36 on chairs and up to ten small tables are available (see photograph). Access is through the main body of the church from which it is separated by a glazed screen. There is a 4” step up into the Lady Chapel but a ramp can be made available if required. Heating is by 2 x 2 Kw stand mounted infrared heaters.
There is currently no heating in the main body of the church and so is most suitable for summertime events. It can seat up to 180 in the pews in the nave.
Parking is on the Main Road or in the village carpark 250 m to the North.
