In May the Stroud Parish Churches book club will be discussing the fascinating, authorised biography of Eugene Peterson, who is famous for writing ‘The Message’ paraphrase of the Bible. The book, ‘A Burning in my Bones’ shows the influences of people and places on his life, and describes his struggles as well as joys as a husband, dad and church leader. It provides insights into how these life experiences formed his personality, his radical faith and love of language.
If you would like to join us on May 15th for tea and talk (as a one off or with a view to joining the group) please contact Helen via helen.hill@ stroudparishchurches.org.uk
