No. Placing a tree at our festival is free to local charities, organisations and businesses in Stroud.

We are very flexible and accommodating. Typically we accept both real and artificial trees, although real trees need to be those that do not drop their needles.

Trees are typically between 4 and 6 feet, although we can accommodate outside this range by arrangement.

You do not have to decorate your tree to fit this theme, but we would like you to consider doing so.

Yes. We can provide an electrical outlet for each tree. Although we ask for all lights to be static, i.e. not flashing and silent.

Trees need to be up and ready by 4 pm on Thursday 2 December. The church will be open from 10 -4 on Wednesday and Thursday for exhibitors to put their trees up.

The festival closes at 1.30 pm on Sunday 14 December.

The church will remain open on Sunday until 4 pm and on Monday 13 December between 10 am and 4 pm for exhibitors to remove their trees.

The event will be held following any Covid19 restrictions that may be in place at the time.

We will restrict the number of people in the event at any given time and we will strongly encourage the wearing of masks.

We hope that there will be no further impact on the planned event but anything that may affect the festival we will communicate as soon as we can.

No. However, this event is run entirely by volunteers and you are very welcome to help. There is an opportunity to do so on the application form.

Volunteers will be asked to be present in the church, welcome visitors and sell programmes.

If you would like to offer help without exhibiting then please do get in touch at [email protected]

This event is run by Stroud Parish Churches and in particular by the town centre church of St Laurence.

Any and all money raised by the event will be used to help maintain the work of the church in Stroud.

In order for this to work you will need a computer with at least a microphone and speakers. You do not have to have camera, but obviously it helps.

A new window opens and you are taken to one of our video conference rooms using Google Meet

You may need to grant permission to use your camera and microphone.

We will get a notification that someone wants to join the call and we’ll let you in.

On an iPhone or Android

Download the app Google Meet first. Open the app and give it the permissions it needs to access your camera and microphone.

Then come back and click the Ding Dong! button on this page.

Communion during this time

In these unprecedented times, we are working hard to find imaginative solutions in a landscape that has been rapidly changing. Sometimes we get things right, and sometimes we miss the mark. I apologise that this has been the case regarding communion.

For those of you who have received wafers in a parcel, we would ask that you either consume them, or put them somewhere safe to bring back once we are able to be together again.

We are going to be sending out a new order of service for use during this time as either a simple service of the word or, on occasion, to help us to share an Agape meal together.
